Present Perfect Tense: Definition, Rules and Useful Examples ...The present perfect tense describes actions or situations that have a connection between the past and the present, such as starting in the past and continuing, having a present result, or occurring at an unspecified time.
Structure:
Subject + [has/have] + past participle (V3) + Object
Examples:
1. ✅ I have eaten lunch.
(The exact time isn’t stated, but the action affects the present — I’m not hungry now.)
2. ✅ She has visited Paris.
(At some point in her life, she visited Paris. It may still be relevant now.)
3. ✅ They have finished their homework.
(The homework is done, and now they are free.)
✅ Interrogative Rule for Present Perfect Tense
To form questions (interrogative sentences) in the present perfect tense, follow this structure:

Have / Has + subject + past participle (V3) + ?

Use "Have" with I, you, we, they
Use "Has" with he, she, it
